Frequently asked questions
Does this edit or draw on my PDF?
No, your original PDF is never modified. This tool shows an image preview of each page that you can draw or highlight on, and screenshots you capture are separate images too. Export or share whenever you like.
How does sharing work?
On supported phones and browsers, the Share button opens your device's native share sheet with the image attached. It also opens a menu of destinations - WhatsApp, Slack, X, and Email - so it works the same way on desktop. Each one copies the image to your clipboard and opens the destination, so all you have to do is paste (Ctrl+V or Cmd+V). For Email, pick Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, AOL, or your device's default mail app from the popup, and the image is ready to paste into the message that opens.
Is there a page or size limit?
There’s no file size limit, and you can browse and capture from any page.
Is annotating a PDF free?
Yes, annotating and sharing a PDF is completely free with no signup.
Can I share the annotated PDF directly to WhatsApp or Slack?
Yes, once you're done annotating, use the share button to send the file straight to WhatsApp, Slack, email, X, or your device's native share sheet.
